Top SchoolClara Berendsen is an infrastructure engineer based in Asunción, Paraguay, with seven years of software experience building cloud-native systems for mission-driven startups across the US and Latin America. She combines front-end fluency in React with Node.js backends and deep hands-on AWS serverless and microservices expertise, having led backend architecture and infrastructure at a fintech startup. Clara moves comfortably between roles—team lead, backend architect, and full-stack developer—shipping transaction-safe systems and integrations for high-growth products. Known for staying current with industry trends, she favors pragmatic, scalable solutions and has a track record of translating product blueprints into operational infrastructure. Unexpectedly for an infrastructure-focused engineer, she also has significant app integration experience (React Native and REST APIs), enabling smoother end-to-end delivery.
