Top SchoolClemens Helm is a founder and seasoned full-stack software engineer with 14+ years of experience building scalable web applications, developer teams, and product-led startups from Vienna. He currently runs Pinchy, a self-hosted, open-source AI agent platform focused on enterprise-grade audit trails and granular permissions, and co-runs Mit Freuden, a craftsmanship-focused Rails collective. His background spans hands-on roles as CTO, VP of Engineering, and founder of multiple ventures (including ChillBill), with deep practical expertise in Rails, Node.js, React, DevOps, and product-to-engineering collaboration. Clemens also runs DevCraft Academy, mentoring developers with tailored assessments and learning paths informed by having worked with 300+ developers across dozens of projects. He combines pragmatic architecture and CI/CD discipline with product empathy, and often focuses on long-lived maintainability rather than short-term hacks. Based in Vienna, he pairs entrepreneurial drive with an academic grounding in media and computer science from TU Wien and Porto.
