Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolClement Hector is a Lead Pipeline Engineer with 11 years in the VFX and animation industry, blending deep technical pipeline expertise with hands-on lighting and compositing experience. He has led development teams at studios like Technicolor and Fix Studio to build robust, scalable tools—ranging from inter-studio synchronization and render-farm management to automated deployment and publication frameworks. His background as a practitioner (lighting/compositing and 3D supervision) gives him a rare empathy for artists’ workflows, enabling pipelines that measurably cut production time. Based in Paris, he’s contributed to open-source pipeline efforts to broaden access across the VFX community and often ties production data to operational tools (e.g., GitLab→Sheets/Calendar sync). Practical, production-focused, and comfortable across art and engineering, he excels at turning complex multi-studio requirements into reliable, automated systems.
