Cliff Mirschel

Summary
Clifford Mirschel is a Senior Software Engineer based in Scottsdale with seven years of experience building high-throughput web and mobile systems. At Total Wine & More he designs and implements scalable backend services (Python/Django) and performant React/TypeScript front ends for a nationwide Order Fulfillment mobile app used by thousands of stores. He brings full-stack discipline—data modeling, reusable component design, and robust testing (E2E/unit coverage practices)—to reduce defects and accelerate delivery. Earlier work in transportation tech included creating a component library that doubled development velocity and an app-wide error handling system that significantly improved UX. A CS graduate from UCF who completed Harvard’s CS50, he also experiments with real-time systems in personal projects, including a Go/TypeScript stock-data API that uses websockets and advanced caching to avoid heavy global state.
