He specializes in messaging, event streaming and API management—owning platforms like Confluent Kafka, Red Hat AMQ and 3scale—and has repeatedly driven cost-efficient platform redesigns and migrations to Azure. Coen combines hands-on observability and AIOps expertise (Splunk, AppDynamics) with pragmatic product strategy, onboarding and Terraform refactors to increase platform adoption and customer satisfaction. He uses Team Topology principles to hire, structure and coach teams, producing measurable gains in performance and employee satisfaction. Comfortable as a consultant and architect, he has delivered observability solutions across government, finance and semiconductor sectors.
