Top SchoolColin Lemahieu is a senior software engineer and entrepreneur with 16 years of experience building high-performance systems, currently at G-Research and founder/director of the Nano Foundation. He conceived and solo-developed the Nano cryptocurrency core before growing it into a team-backed project with 500+ network nodes, sub-3-second transactions, and broad wallet and payments integrations. His background includes low-level tooling and compiler work at Qualcomm and AMD, performance-focused improvements at National Instruments and Dell, and shipping production systems across diverse domains. Known for pragmatic optimizations—rewriting parsers, reducing link times and memory usage, and automating tedious workflows—he blends deep systems expertise with product-minded leadership. Based in London, he combines entrepreneurial drive with hands-on engineering that scales from embedded toolchains to decentralized finance.
