Top SchoolConstantine Filin is a seasoned technology leader who bridges business and engineering with over 20 years of experience building and shipping production systems for Bay Area startups and marketplaces. He’s led engineering and product teams at Upwork and Intermedia.NET, owning internal tools across support, risk, billing, and security while managing expectations with director- and VP-level stakeholders. As a CTO and technical founder he combines hands-on architecture, DevOps, and recruiting with pragmatic product thinking to deliver reliable services on cloud platforms. He’s adept at taming technical debt and incident triage, and has deep experience across Perl, PHP, Java, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, AWS and microservices. Based in California and educated in applied math and computer engineering, he often plays the hidden role of translator—making complex technical constraints understandable to business owners. Currently self-employed and serving as CTO at TECTRANSIT, he focuses on “making technology work” end-to-end.
