Senior🎓
Top SchoolCorey Potts is a Senior Software Engineer focused on DevOps with eight years of experience building and operating cloud-native infrastructure and developer tooling. Currently at Sophos, he progressed through multiple DevOps engineering roles, applying Terraform, AWS, Python, Ansible and CI/CD to deliver reliable production systems. Previously he helped run a successful multiplayer online game as a systems developer and administrator, owning everything from backend APIs and databases to security and deployment—experience that taught him to balance customer feedback, ops resilience and rapid iteration. He holds a First Class degree in Computer Science with Software Engineering from the University of Hull and brings strong Linux, Docker and automation skills. Colleagues would describe him as curious and continuously learning, with practical experience scaling services and managing high-traffic environments. He combines hands-on systems craft with an appreciation for product-driven engineering rather than pure tooling for its own sake.
