Senior🎓
Top SchoolCorey Short is a DevOps engineer with 11 years of experience building resilient, automated cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines across enterprises like Intuit, GE Digital, and Serena & Lily. He combines deep hands-on skills in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation with a track record of dramatic operational improvements—cutting an EC2 deployment process from four days to six hours and accelerating cron jobs by orders of magnitude. Comfortable across the stack, he’s delivered migrations, disaster recovery playbooks, DNS and security hardening, and observability integrations while driving cost savings and release discipline. Based in the Los Angeles area and Berkeley-educated in Computer Science, he brings a pragmatic, documentation-forward approach and a knack for squeezing outsized performance gains from legacy systems. An early career background in front-end and research work gives him an uncommon appreciation for UX and reproducible, testable systems.
