Summary
Craig Molyneux is a seasoned cartographer and geo-visualisation specialist with over 30 years’ experience designing maps for print, web and mobile, and 12 years in professional roles leading visualisation services. He has led atlas and map production for major Australian publishers and transitioned traditional cartographic workflows into multi-scale digital maps and iOS apps using GIS, TileMill and illustration tools. At Spatial Vision and through his CartDeco practice he combines project management of large, data-driven atlas productions with hands-on design and data sourcing from global repositories. His RMIT Master’s research into multi-published atlas workflows underpins a “design once, publish many” approach that reduces duplication across print, web and mobile. Based in Victoria, Australia, he brings rare depth in both historical print cartography and modern geospatial app delivery.
