Top SchoolCristiano Degiorgis is a seasoned software leader with over 20 years in web and enterprise systems and a decade-plus focused on Microsoft/.NET ecosystems, currently Head of Development at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company. He specializes in designing and delivering microservices-based architectures, championing TDD, DDD, CQRS, event sourcing and containerized deployments as the core of scalable, message-driven platforms. Cristiano has led cross-regional engineering teams and major migrations—from legacy ERP and single-vendor clouds to multi-vendor Azure platforms—while also architecting productized event management systems. A pragmatic Docker evangelist, he prefers container+orchestration strategies over cloud-specific PaaS to maximize portability across hosting scenarios. His background blends hands-on engineering, technical writing and strategic architecture, informed by an unusual mix of technical training and a BA in Philosophy that shapes his systems-thinking approach.
