Senior🎓
Top SchoolCuong Ta is a Sr. Staff Software Engineer based in California with 11 years of hands-on experience building full-stack products and leading teams at companies like Juniper Networks and Mist Systems. He combines a strong backend background in PHP, Java, Go and databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle) with mobile and front-end expertise in iOS/Android, Objective-C, JavaScript and modern UI toolkits. Cuong has shipped consumer-facing apps and transactional systems—implementing order/purchase APIs at Shutterfly and indoor-location microservices using BLE at Mist—while also designing UX assets in Photoshop and Illustrator. Comfortable across design patterns, UML modeling and RESTful microservices, he excels at turning complex use cases into stable, production-ready systems. He brings rare cross-discipline fluency: product-facing UI polish plus deep infrastructure and API design experience. Based on his career arc, he’s a pragmatic engineering leader who still prefers to be hands-on in code and architecture.
