Top SchoolCurtis Belt is an Enterprise Engineer with 11 years of experience building and operating WordPress-centric platforms and developer workflows for large organizations from Chicago. He combines front-end expertise in Vue/Nuxt and React with deep back-end skills in PHP, MySQL, NGINX and AWS, and has hands-on experience designing fault-tolerant, automated deployments and custom APIs. At WordPress VIP and Automattic he advises on architecture, debugs complex integrations, and trains internal teams while helping shape strategic technical decisions for major brands. Previously he led migrations and cross-brand initiatives at Penske Media and created a NuxtPress framework and deployment automation at TRIBUS to accelerate projects and improve reliability. He brings a pragmatic blend of on-call production experience, DevOps scripting (bash/Cloudwatch/Cloudflare), and people-focused leadership—having formalized team onboarding, skills surveys, and mentoring. Outside of code, he’s built tooling to preload PHP OPcache and atomic-deploy via symlinks, reflecting a focus on performance and safe releases.
