Top SchoolCyrus Desai is a University of Michigan computer science student with seven years of software engineering experience building full-stack and data-centric systems for enterprise and research contexts. He has shipped production services and frontends—implementing Go REST APIs and React UIs at Capital One, and deploying cloud infrastructure with CI/CD—while also building real-time dashboards and data pipelines for healthcare and web visualization products. His research on image-embedding and outlier detection helped clean a major benchmark dataset and earned a Blue Ribbon at UROP, showing a rare blend of rigorous ML experimentation and practical tooling. Equally comfortable leading teams, he has held project lead and VP roles in student data organizations and taught machine learning as an instructional assistant, demonstrating both technical depth and mentorship. Based in Pennsylvania, Cyrus brings a strong academic record (4.0 BS CS) and a track record of improving performance and security in production systems.
