Senior🎓
Top SchoolDalto Curvelano is a Staff Software Engineer with 17 years of experience building and owning high-volume backend systems, currently based in Tbilisi, Georgia. He has a strong track record leading teams and shipping payments and remittance platforms, having driven performance and CI improvements that cut build times by an order of magnitude. Dalto co-founded a data enrichment startup that scraped and indexed millions of sites, designed scalable APIs and ran an API gateway—work later sold to a third party. He is a pragmatic technologist fluent in Ruby on Rails, PHP/Laravel and backend architecture, who repeatedly moves teams from slow-release cadence to multiple daily deploys. Beyond engineering, he’s acted as scrum master and mentor, blending hands-on coding with process and people leadership. His career shows a pattern of tackling messy legacy systems and turning them into measurable, production-ready improvements.
