Senior🎓
Top SchoolDamian Zaremba is a versatile consultant and senior systems engineer with 16 years of experience designing and operating resilient network and infrastructure platforms while also delivering software engineering and DevOps solutions. Based in Amsterdam, he blends large-scale network reliability work (Fastly, Booking.com) with hands-on product and platform engineering—Python, Django, Kubernetes, Prometheus and Git-driven automation—alongside developer-friendly front-end work (SvelteKit, Tailwind). Unusually, he pairs this deep technical practice with practical maritime expertise as an RYA Yachtmaster instructor and yacht maintenance lead, regularly resolving real-world mechanical and electrical failures afloat. He has a track record of reducing operational risk through automation, CI-driven transformations and stronger compliance controls, and has repeatedly built internal portals and pricing/booking engines that improve business workflows. Available for work from late April, Damian is open to roles that combine system/network automation, shore-based yacht management, or onboard seasonal/rotational positions.
