Top SchoolDan Arnould is a cloud-native technical leader with 12 years’ experience designing and operating scalable, highly available distributed systems and platforms from Dublin. As Director at TurboShift and a seasoned senior platform/DevOps engineer across fintech and media, he focuses on automation, GitOps, everything-as-code, and embedding SRE/DevOps culture to enable continuous delivery. He’s led platform work at organisations including Funding Circle, Vocalink/Mastercard and the BBC, bringing production-hardened practices to both startups and large enterprises. Dan combines hands‑on software development roots with deep infrastructure expertise in container orchestration and security-minded platform design. He favors lean thinking and practical automation to reduce toil and increase developer velocity, often delivering incremental improvements that compound into major reliability gains. Outside formal roles he pursues platform craftsmanship through consulting and contracting, translating wide-ranging operational experience into pragmatic platform roadmaps.
