Dan Cortes
Denver, Colorado, United States
Summary
🤩
RockstarDan Cortes is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building web-first products and a recent focus on blockchain development, currently at Coinbase in Denver. He brings deep front-end expertise honed through leadership roles at Glassdoor and Albert, complemented by hands-on engineering and staff-level work at IF Labs and a head of engineering stint at Mimicry Protocol. Dan’s background in product strategy, design, and marketing gives him a rare ability to translate business goals into polished user experiences and pragmatic technical tradeoffs. Comfortable moving between individual contributor work and cross-functional leadership, he gravitates toward teams that ship high-quality, user-focused products. An early career in digital strategy and even freelance writing suggests he values clear communication and storytelling as much as clean code.
