Summary
👤
SeniorDan Couture is a Staff Software Engineer in Greater Boston with 11 years of experience building resilient infrastructure and developer tooling at scale, currently at Reddit after leading infrastructure efforts at Fitbit/Google. He specializes in container orchestration, cloud migrations, gRPC/mTLS systems in Go, and Terraform/Bazel-based monorepo maintenance, and has a track record of creating small, pragmatic CLI and automation tools that reduce friction for engineers. A former high school math teacher and adjunct faculty, Dan brings strong mentorship and pedagogical instincts to technical leadership—he has stepped in as interim manager and regularly mentors peers and students. Outside work he channels that teaching itch as a FIRST Robotics mentor, blending hands-on hardware/software problem solving with youth development.
