Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolDan Iftodi is a software engineer with a decade of experience building and operating scalable Java/Kotlin microservices, batch processing pipelines, and fraud-detection systems from Moldova. He currently designs, implements, tests and runs production services at Extole, working across AWS, Kafka, Spark/EMR, ELK/Grafana and zero-downtime deployment patterns. His background includes low-level networking and routing logic at Noction and retail POS integrations with Stefanini, giving him practical experience across distributed systems, networking and hardware-adjacent integrations. Comfortable with both online and offline data migrations, he pairs rigorous engineering (TDD, automated tests, run-books) with operational ownership and observability. He writes about batch processing and shares code on GitHub and a personal blog, demonstrating a habit of documenting and communicating complex systems beyond day-to-day delivery.
