Top SchoolDan Jewett is an entrepreneurial software engineer and founder with 11 years of experience building games, web applications, and developer tools from Toledo, Ohio. As owner of Creation Mode Studios® he combines a hands-on maker mentality with product focus—repairing computers, shipping websites, and currently developing the award-winning indie game The Violets of Amicus. His background spans full-stack web and game development across startups and agencies, with deep experience in Laravel, React, NodeJS, MongoDB, and custom JavaScript frameworks for eLearning and SCORM/AICC integration. At Root Inc. he built internal tooling and prototyping systems, and at Lightspeed Voice he contributed telephony software on top of PBX systems, showing an ability to move between consumer-facing games and enterprise integrations. Equally comfortable designing playful user experiences and architecting backend systems, he thrives on seeing others use and enjoy the products he creates. An early fascination with game design still informs his pragmatic creativity and commitment to shipping polished, user-focused software.
