Top SchoolDan Ochiana is an engineering leader with 11+ years building and scaling full-stack teams and products across companies from startups to Amazon and Warner Bros. Combining hands-on CTO/architect experience with current Engineering Manager duties at Amazon (via Makeen), he champions an engineering-first culture that treats developers as empowered stakeholders. His background spans C++ and .NET to modern JavaScript stacks, giving him a rare fluency across system-level and web-facing layers. Known for aligning talent scouting, team cohesion, and delivery expectations, he focuses on practical engineering depth rather than process for its own sake. Based in Galați, Romania, Dan blends technical craftsmanship with strategic leadership—often stepping into architecture and technical hiring to ensure teams ship high-quality software.
