Top SchoolDan Wilkerson is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years of experience building high-performance, production C++ systems and full-stack web features. Currently a senior staff member on Google Cloud Logging, he designs and operates extremely concurrent, highly available pipelines that process massive log volumes. His tenure at Google also includes semantic search work for Shopping and Google.com, where he shipped parser unification and tooling that materially improved search quality across large traffic. Earlier roles span analytics, frontend, and growth-focused engineering—informing a pragmatic approach to instrumentation, migration, and product-facing rewrites. Based in Pittsburgh, he combines deep backend performance expertise with hands-on frontend and analytics chops, and a history of launching internal tools that become core team assets.
