Top SchoolDaniel Grant is a pragmatic technical architect and senior consultant with 11 years’ experience designing, delivering and operating high-availability systems across transport, finance, digital agencies and pharmaceuticals. Based in Glasgow, he blends hands-on cloud engineering and software development with solution architecture and team leadership, driving end-to-end delivery for clients from local government to clinical trials for neurodegenerative disease. He has repeatedly moved from developer to architect roles, demonstrating an ability to turn complex legacy and mission-critical systems into maintainable, test-driven platforms. Comfortable across Java, ETL and cloud stacks, he focuses on reliability, scalability and operational maintainability while guiding cross-functional teams. Notably, his recent work at Waracle concentrated on digital biomarker pipelines—an intersection of healthcare data and production-grade engineering that highlights his aptitude for regulated, data-sensitive systems.
