Daniel Madrid
Scotland, United Kingdom
Summary
👤
SeniorDaniel Madrid is a founder and software engineer with 14 years of experience building 0→1 products and scaling engineering teams, currently bootstrapping Siftmo, an analytics platform for ecommerce merchants. A Rubyist at heart, he has shipped production systems at both bootstrapped and funded startups and contributed to multiple exits, including SkyVerge (Inc 5000) and ArchiSnapper. He’s worked with enterprise clients like Konami and Renault and often serves fractionally to help early-stage teams strengthen delivery and architecture. Based in Scotland and grounded in a computer engineering background with postgraduate AI coursework, he blends hands-on engineering with product intuition and founder-level operational experience. An under-the-radar strength is his pattern of moving between deep implementation work and building repeatable team practices that accelerate growth.
