Top SchoolDaniel Muñoz is a seasoned Software Development Engineer III based in Seattle with two decades of experience building and leading high‑visibility e-commerce and financial systems. He has driven product launches and integrations at Amazon (Prime Pantry, Fresh, Coupons), led backend and performance work at Citigroup, and currently shapes services at Remitly with a blend of hands‑on coding in Java, Python and Go and pragmatic technical leadership. Comfortable coordinating distributed teams across time zones, he brings proven delivery discipline from enterprise banks to consumer retail platforms. Daniel pairs deep J2EE and cloud-era backend expertise with front-end and mobile-aware design (e.g., a mobile Coupon Carousel) to solve customer-facing problems. He’s equally at home tuning large data processing pipelines and mentoring teams, a skill honed since early roles as a J2EE architect and part‑time instructor. Notably, his career traces a continuous thread of turning complex cross‑functional requirements into production features that measurably increase visibility and revenue.
