Top SchoolDaniel Roesler is a seasoned energy-tech leader and standards maintainer with over 15 years of technical experience and nine years focused in software and product roles. As the Connected Data Specification (CDS) maintainer at LF Energy and former founder/CTO of UtilityAPI, he has led specification authorship, standards engagement with major tech firms, and built secure utility data platforms processing millions of transactions monthly. He holds a patent for secure utility data architecture and has steered SOC 2 compliance, government-grant deployments, and regulatory testimony, blending product vision with deep implementation experience. Equally comfortable in technical advisory and hands-on engineering roles, he translates complex energy and grid data requirements into deployable standards and production systems. A chemical-engineering-trained technologist, he brings uncommon domain breadth—from field-scale renewable project delivery to scalable cloud data infrastructure—and a knack for turning regulatory and interoperability challenges into practical software solutions.
