Daniel Roux
Cloud Software Engineer Cloud Foundry at STACKIT
Germany
Summary
👤
SeniorDaniel Roux is a cloud software engineer with 16 years in software development and over a decade crafting full-stack solutions, now focused on Cloud Foundry and cloud-native systems. He combines deep Ruby and Go expertise with practical AWS experience to design event-driven, microservice architectures and SRE-informed monitoring (SLIs/SLOs). At Latana he cut AWS waste and refactored 62 microservices to save €20k/month, and his tooling (Ruby CLIs, concurrent data generators) has supported data science and quality efforts. Comfortable across the stack, he has delivered fintech APIs, internationalized Go services, and automated real-time incident analysis with distributed tracing. Based in Germany, he brings a pragmatic blend of cost-conscious engineering and operational rigor to distributed systems.
