Daniel Schulz is a product-focused technologist and urbanist with a decade of experience building digital tools that bridge urban planning, GIS and stakeholder collaboration. Trained as an architect and urban designer at TU Berlin, he has translated academic research into production software—leading development of the Cockpit Urban Infrastructures (CoSI) and contributing to Hamburg’s UrbanDataHub while serving as technical lead at HafenCity University. As Co-Founder and CPO of comaps he guides a platform aimed at sustainable, community-oriented city and regional planning for German and international municipalities. Equally comfortable designing research workflows and shipping web products, he brings a rare combination of spatial planning domain knowledge and hands-on web development experience dating back to his own studio work.
