Top SchoolDaniel Shoun is a senior full-stack software engineer based in Denver with eight years of experience building web and clinical software across startups and health tech. Trained in biomedical sciences and later in full-stack development, he uniquely bridges molecular medicine knowledge with hands-on engineering in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, and Rust. His recent roles include senior engineering at DrChrono and engineering work at Vault Health and Elsevier, reflecting a focus on clinical informatics and healthcare integrations. Collected experience from consulting and product teams gives him a practical knack for turning research-minded curiosity into production-ready features. He began coding as a child modifying games, a creative thread that still drives his interest in elegant, user-focused systems. Daniel aims to one day more deeply combine his biomedical background with technology to advance healthcare tooling.
