Summary
🤩
RockstarDaniel Soifer is a hands-on tech lead with 9 years of experience building cloud-native CI/CD and GitOps platforms, currently leading AI & SDLC initiatives for Huawei Cloud. He combines practical engineering (Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Kubernetes) with people leadership honed as an R&D manager through Codefresh's acquisition journey and a brief engineering lead role at Octopus Deploy. As an Open Source maintainer of Argo Events and a GitOps co-chair, he drives event-based dependency management for Kubernetes and influences the broader GitOps ecosystem. Based in Tel Aviv, he blends startup grit and enterprise delivery, shipping production systems across Docker, AWS, MongoDB, and Redis. Less obvious: he pairs community stewardship with product delivery, often moving between code, architecture and maintainer governance to accelerate adoption.
