Senior🎓
Top SchoolDaniel Ståhl is a Senior Data Engineer with 13 years of experience building high-throughput, concurrent backend systems and data pipelines, currently driving data engineering at BookBeat in Stockholm. He combines deep Java and Scala expertise with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Dataflow/Scio, BigQuery, Kafka, dbt and DevOps practices, routinely owning the full lifecycle from requirements to on-call. At Spotify he powered experimentation and metrics platforms and authored dataflows that scaled to thousands of requests per second, while also contributing to reliability and interview processes. Comfortable across backend, data and full-stack roles, he has presented externally and led technical interviews, signaling strong communication and mentorship skills. An unusual facet: he studied composition and even curated Spotify’s classical playlists, blending technical rigor with creative product instincts.
