Top SchoolDanyal Aytekin is a Senior Software Engineer based in London with 13 years of experience building websites and mobile apps for publishers, startups and major brands such as BBC News, Springer Nature, WorldRemit and Volkswagen. He combines front-end craftsmanship (HTML5, modern CSS, React/Redux/MobX) with back-end and API work in Node and .NET, plus native iOS/Android and cross-platform Xamarin expertise. As a long-running freelance director of fubase, he has delivered progressively enhanced SPAs and integrated front-ends with diverse backend stacks and view engines for international clients. Recently he’s expanded into AI research while continuing senior engineering roles, signalling a blend of practical product delivery and exploratory ML/AI work. A Cambridge-trained physicist/computer scientist, he brings both rigorous technical thinking and hands-on shipping experience across SQL and NoSQL data stores. An understated detail: alongside large enterprise projects he’s maintained a pixel-oriented creative sensibility, reflected in his independent studio work and personal GitHub presence.
