Top SchoolDaria Calwell is an engineering manager and seasoned frontend infrastructure engineer with a decade of experience building delightful developer experiences across CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vite, and GraphQL. She blends hands-on coding—React, Vue, Node—with systems thinking to deliver clean architecture, reliable pipelines, and thoughtfully designed tooling that teammates enjoy using. Her career spans leadership and senior technical roles at IBM, DataStax, and Guild Education, where she’s led frontend foundations and core platform work remotely and on-site. Methodical and curious, she obsessively considers edge cases and developer ergonomics (and yes, she argues with linters). Based in Denver, she pairs a background in full-stack development with a humanities BA, which informs her focus on clear communication, design, and the intersection of performance and beauty. Outside of work she chases dramatic landscapes and hard climbing routes, reflecting a love for challenging problems both technical and physical.
