Summary
👤
SeniorDarin Richardson is an Engineering Manager based in Portland, Oregon, with over two decades of multidisciplinary experience designing, building, and operating web-based software. A rare generalist, he moves fluidly between interviewing users, shaping UX, writing production-grade applications across frameworks, and standing up server infrastructure that supports hundreds of thousands of monthly users. He’s progressed from hands-on roles (Senior Web Developer, Staff Engineer) to leadership, founding and scaling small agencies and teams where he owned product, technical operations, and client strategy. Known for bridging business goals and technical execution, he excels at turning vague startup ideas into coherent product roadmaps and reliable systems. Colleagues rely on him for both tactical coding decisions and hiring or mentoring engineering talent.
