Top SchoolDarren Labithiotis is a CTO and full-stack engineering leader with 11 years’ experience building and shipping SaaS products from concept to production, specializing in TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL and scalable backend systems. He has led teams and projects across startups and enterprise settings—most recently as CTO of Hablo and a long-standing senior engineer at Toptal—combining hands-on architecture with delivery discipline like CI, E2E testing and observability. His background in Computer Games Design gives him a user-centric edge, evident in polished UIs, component libraries and inventive UX patterns such as staged image loading. Darren excels in remote-first environments, has deep experience integrating complex auth flows (Auth0/PKCE) and data import/versioning systems, and has repeatedly delivered rapid, production-ready platforms under tight timelines. Based in the Austrian Alps, he balances high-velocity engineering with practical product sense and a knack for turning fuzzy requirements into robust, user-friendly systems.
