SeniorDarren Watson is a Quality Assurance consultant with 11 years of experience shaping reliable web and product experiences from game consoles to enterprise SaaS. He blends hands-on defect fixes in Angular, TypeScript, and C# with leadership of cross-functional QA teams, accessibility efforts, and automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, and REST-Assured. At Sprout Social he closed critical testing gaps by building backend API suites and analytical dashboards that reduced recurring support bugs and informed product risk decisions. Known for creating productivity tools in Python and test templates that raise confidence in releases, he pairs process improvements with practical coding skills. Based in Chicago, Darren brings a tester’s curiosity to design reviews and pre-mortems, often surfacing stop-ship issues early. He’s motivated by making work easier and more consistent, turning lessons learned into repeatable team practices.
