Senior🎓
Top SchoolDarryl Ring is a Technical Lead in embedded systems with 11 years of experience designing and integrating hardware, firmware, FPGA logic, and software for high-performance instrumentation and automotive systems. He excels at crossover problems that require reading schematics, stepping through embedded code, and using lab test gear—often debugging late into the night to get complex systems working. His background includes leading firmware and product integration teams at Redlen, FPGA and high-speed networking work for scientific instruments, and embedded vehicle systems experience from Tesla and Rivian. Comfortable with Zynq and Virtex UltraScale platforms, DDR4 and 100Gb Ethernet, he pairs low-level C and FPGA design with Python tooling for test and data analysis. Based in Sidney, BC, he brings a tenacious, hands-on leadership style and a track record of shipping rugged, testable systems that bridge hardware and software.
