Top SchoolDave Debreceni is an accomplished backend-focused software engineer and platform leader with nine years of experience building scalable, testable systems and improving developer workflows. Currently an AVP of Platform Infrastructure at iCapital, he has a track record of moving teams toward automation, serverless patterns, and robust CI/CD—having rebuilt SFTP flows into Azure Storage SFTP + Functions and dockerized full local stacks. He pairs hands-on engineering (C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS) with mentoring and teaching experience as a former adjunct instructor, emphasizing TDD, DDD, and developer ergonomics. Dave excels at untangling complex integration work—HL7v2/DICOM pipelines and custom tooling feature prominently in his background—and has repeatedly created local emulators and test harnesses to isolate environments and reduce risk. He values alignment, empathy, and shared vision, and brings a practical, product-focused mentality to infrastructure and platform problems. Based in North Liberty, Iowa, he combines enterprise-grade delivery with a habit of sharing learnings through demos and internal tooling that scale across organizations.
