Top SchoolDave Guenther is a data scientist at the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research with over 20 years of professional experience and nine years focused on data integration, processing, modeling, automation, and visualization. He brings strong Python skills and a pipeline-first approach to turning messy regulatory and clinical datasets into clear visual outputs and reproducible workflows. Prior roles at the FDA’s CFSAN, FEMA, and the Army reflect a track record of operational rigor and program-level delivery across government contexts. Colleagues describe him as organized, helpful, and thorough, and he pairs that collaborative mindset with a hobbyist curiosity spanning coding, electronics, and gaming—often reflected in practical, hands-on tooling he builds for data work.
