Summary
👤
SeniorDave Ruijter is a data and analytics solution architect with 10 years' experience building and operationalizing Azure-based data platforms and ML solutions across banking and enterprise clients. He currently serves as a Centre of Expertise Engineer at ABN AMRO while also founding Blue Rocket Data Consulting, bridging hands-on engineering with strategic guidance to accelerate time-to-market and data maturity. His strengths include MLOps, DataOps, governance and CI/CD for production ML—demonstrated by migrations from on-prem Cloudera/Dataiku to Azure Databricks and implementing model monitoring and Great Expectations-based data quality frameworks. Comfortable working between business owners, product teams, architects and engineers, he pairs tooling expertise (Databricks, Azure Lakehouse, DevOps, Power BI) with pragmatic delivery. Colleagues rely on him as a sparring partner who translates governance needs into automated, observable pipelines that scale.
