Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Amunga is a Senior Frontend Engineer based in Nairobi with roughly nine years of experience building mobile and web products across Africa. He specializes in React/Next, TanStack, React Native/Expo and Node/NestJS, and pairs engineering with product-minded design using Figma and Illustrator. David has repeatedly accelerated time-to-value—cutting MVP timelines, shortening onboarding from weeks to days, and reducing manual QA through deployment and testing baselines. He’s shipped end-to-end experiences for enterprise platforms (onboarding-to-billing flows) and built offline-first Android integrations with IoT hardware, demonstrating both frontend polish and systems thinking. Comfortable owning documentation and component libraries, he drives developer velocity as well as customer outcomes. Form follows function is his guiding principle, reflected in pragmatic design systems and reusable tooling that scale teams as well as products.
