Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolDavid Annez is a seasoned product and engineering leader with 12 years of experience delivering cross-functional, outcome-driven software teams across consumer and product platforms. Currently SVP Engineering and Product at Sanity in London, he blends hands-on engineering (Ruby, JavaScript, Go, Clojure, Elixir, Python) with product strategy to prioritise performance, usability and business impact. He has held CTO and VP roles at fast-moving startups and travel tech (Beam, Lottie, loveholidays), scaling teams and shipping customer-facing systems. A generalist by training—educated in product design engineering—he pairs a founder’s commercial instincts (built and ran Frogbeats) with deep interest in web performance and design-developer collaboration. Notably, he prefers pragmatic solutions over tech-first choices and explicitly avoids recruitment or cold-sales outreach.
