Top SchoolDavid Aroesti is an engineering manager and former startup founder with 10 years of experience building and leading distributed software teams across consulting, education, government, and FAANG. Currently managing engineering at Google after hands-on roles in cloud engineering and as Director of Engineering at YouNoodle, he combines product-minded engineering with infrastructure and cloud expertise across the full stack. A trained lawyer and jurist by education, he uniquely blends legal and human-rights perspectives with technical decision-making—an asset in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments. He has a track record of scaling teams and platforms (from founding Novelistik to expanding YouNoodle’s Mexico office) and a passion for ML and user-centric products as CEO of Sefer-AI. Colleagues describe him as a leader who prefers to get his hands dirty: coding, teaching, and experimenting to turn bold ideas into dependable software.
