Summary
👤
SeniorDavid Bainbridge is a Principal Architect with 13 years of recent experience leading teams to deliver scalable, high-performance distributed systems and cloud-native networking solutions from Summerville, SC. He specializes in applying Kubernetes, CNF/VNF orchestration, custom controllers, and intent-based networking to evolve carrier-grade products while prioritizing stability, maintainability, and reuse over reinvention. His career spans major roles at Ciena, Cisco, Huawei, and Zenoss where he combined hands-on implementation with architectural direction, big-data prototyping, and UI/AR experiments for enterprise management. David uniquely blends deep operational thinking—day‑2 reconciliation, cross-cluster workload placement and telemetry-driven policies—with customer-facing collaboration and conference presentations. He is pragmatic about leveraging existing technologies and has a track record of turning prototypes (ZeroMQ/Storm/OpenTSDB) into product features that address real operational needs.
