Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolDavid Goguen is a software engineer and serial founder with eight years of professional experience and a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa. He has led end-to-end product and systems design across startups, scaling iROOMit from zero to 100K+ monthly users and $20K MRR through resilient AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, and data-driven iteration. At Rella he builds real-time collaborative features and robust backend models, blending product-first thinking with low-latency engineering (Next.js, TypeScript, WebSockets, Postgres/Drizzle). Earlier work as a creator of TechOpt.io generated over 5 million views while delivering enterprise Active Directory consulting—an uncommon mix of developer evangelism and hands-on systems ops. He’s comfortable across the full stack and multiple languages (JS/TS, Python, C++, Rust, Java) and has applied ML/vision services to cut listing fraud by 90%. Practical, systems-oriented, and user-focused, he excels at turning complex workflows into scalable, observable products.
