Top SchoolDavid Guglielmi is a seasoned technology leader and CTO specializing in Open Source infrastructure, cloud management and DevOps with over 11 years of hands-on experience operating and standardizing large-scale, high-availability Unix/Linux platforms. Based in Villeurbanne, he leads technical strategy and a cross-functional engineering leadership team at Alter Way, having previously managed production teams and designed hybrid cloud architectures for Smile and Open Wide supporting ~1,000 hosts. He combines deep system-level expertise (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, OpenBSD, KVM) with automation and orchestration skills (Puppet, Ansible, oVirt) to deliver robust, production-grade platforms. Comfortable both in day-to-day operations and in defining company-wide technical processes, he drives integration between production, presales and tooling teams. Notably, he pairs traditional sysadmin craftsmanship with modern cloud design—formalizing repeatable offers and HA architectures while championing open source tooling across the organization.
