David Guijarro
Lead Product Engineer at Thoughtworks
Hamburg, Germany
Summary
👤
SeniorDavid Guijarro is a Lead Product Engineer based in Hamburg with over a decade of software experience and two decades of design-to-delivery practice that roots his product sensibility. He has progressed from art direction and editorial production into front-end architecture and engineering leadership at companies like SHARE NOW, car2go and Nect, and now leads product engineering at Thoughtworks. David blends hands-on front-end expertise with team and chapter leadership, repeatedly guiding cross-functional teams through complex web and mobile product deliveries. His background in design and publishing gives him an uncommon strength in UX-first engineering and shipping polished user experiences at scale. Colleagues describe him as genuinely curious about the craft—still finding the work interesting after twenty years—which shows up in steady role evolution from designer to technical leader.
