Top SchoolDavid H is a Consulting DevOps Engineer with nine years of experience architecting and automating scalable infrastructure across bare metal, virtualized, and multi-cloud environments. He specializes in cloud migrations, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code—using Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes/EKS, and CI/CD toolchains to modernize legacy systems and replace monolithic C/C++ components with Python 3 services. Comfortable from low-level Linux and BSD administration to managed AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, Route 53), he also brings strong monitoring and streaming expertise with the TICK stack and Kafka. David pairs hands-on scripting in Python, Go, and bash with mentoring and on-call operations experience, and has repeatedly driven build and pipeline modernization in production settings. Notably, he blends systems engineering roots (VMware, KVM, Cobbler) with modern cloud-native patterns, making him effective at migrating stubborn legacy stacks to containerized cloud platforms.
