Senior🎓
Top SchoolDavid Liao is a Technical Lead with nearly two decades of experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade web services, application migrations, and large-scale real-time systems. He combines deep Java/C++ OOD skills with hands-on expertise in JavaEE, Spring, RESTful APIs, messaging, and legacy-to-cloud migrations across financial and healthcare domains. Known for leading cross-functional teams through full SDLC in Agile environments, he’s repeatedly sized project efforts, set architecture, and mentored engineers to raise productivity and code quality. His background spans mainframe integration (CICS), portal and WAS stacks, and modern JVM ecosystems—bridging legacy platforms to RESTful services in production. Based in Waukegan, IL, he pairs a Master’s in Software Engineering with a pragmatic focus on reusable components and frameworks that reduce long-term maintenance. Less obvious: he blends deep systems-level experience with a cloud-enthusiast mindset, enabling practical migration strategies rather than speculative rewrites.
